winners of citizens and businesses of the year
– along with a business of the millennium – to be honored at the
annual dinner dance and awards event Jan. 16.

Announced this week, the winners include the following:
Woman of the Year: Velma Tiffany
Man of the Year: Larry Cain
Retail Business of the Year: Serene Home
Hospitality Business of the Year: The Inn at Tres Pinos
Service Business of the Year: RaboBank
Professional Service Business of the Year: Lombardo & Gilles
Ambassador of the Year: Toni Rovella
Business of the Millennium: Tiffany Motor Company
The dinner dance, meanwhile, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 16, a Saturday, at San Juan Oaks Golf Club. It will include no-host cocktails, a 7 p.m. dinner, the program, a raffle and live auction, and dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight to Local Grove Band. Tickets are $50 per person and are available at the chamber, 650 San Benito St. The event is black tie optional. For information, call 637-5315.
