This letter is for all you people who defend the good things Mr.
Scagliotti has done for our community. I would like to know if the
people who write these letters are partners with him
– they have to be.
He and all his supporters have lined their pockets and set
themselves up for a very long time to make a lot of money for years
to come. He has done a good job at controlling the press over at
the other paper and pulling the wool over the community’s eyes. The
time has come that everyone has figured out his ways so he bows out
of the supervisor position, but he will not be forgotten. He is
trying to go out on a good basis so he can get appointed to other
key positions in the government. Do not let that happen.

“I really want to commend the Free Lance for having a columnist like Ignacio Velazquez. It takes a lot of guts to go up against the likes of Richard Scagliotti and his editor and chief wannabe ‘leader’ Tracie Cone.

You almost never see anything in print about their antics, as if they are untouchable. Like as if neither one of them is in the public eye and open for scrutiny.

It disgusts me to see the editorials that they crank out and never allow other sides to vent their frustrations and opinions. It’s so biased, it’s no wonder the paper is free!”

“Kuminoff said it himself ‘…without the initiative (Measure G) basically anything can happen.’

Fontes sealed it with ‘…he foresees a loss for people who have bought agricultural land in the last five to 10 years hoping to develop it.’

Do you see now? They did not purchase land to farm. They purchased land to develop. Would all the farmers/ranchers please come out of the developers closet and start being honest and while you are at it quit skewing numbers to benefit your cause. And you want us to trust you?

Vote yes on Measure G.”
