In response to the person concerned about the dogs in his

police, ambulance or fire department responding rapidly with sirens
or slowly without?

Maybe if half the people around here were aware of the approaching code 3 vehicles (that does include the siren) and would move out of their way, the sirens would not have to be so loud.

Another easy solution would be for you to just buy ear plugs and maybe some for your dog too!

Oh by the way, we live downtown and hear the sirens often and our dogs nor do the dogs in our neighborhood howl.”

“Hi, this is Charlotte from Aromas, and I just wanted to let Mike Fitzgerald know where we are since we are in San Benito County. And you would think if your paper had been serving San Benito County for over 130 years, he would be bright enough to know where we are. So you might want to check out a map and find out a little bit more about Aromas before you go slamming our town for no reason.”
