Stick with me folks, I want to make sure the math is right. He
works 10-13 hours a day during which time he talks to 20 or more
people, serving 30-40 services and by some miracle manages to do it
all while his car is constantly parked at the courthouse, City
Hall, The County Rose, The Ding-a-ling or Duneville restaurant.

He’s not doing all the services himself, NO WAY! Who does he think he’s fooling! I want to know why the Board of Supervisors allowed this to go on for so long. The county spent over $150,000 on the Marshal’s Office budget this year so that the Marshal can make money for himself at the county’s expense! My expense and yours too!
It’s not the Board’s money to give away to their buddies – these are public funds. They had better fix this and soon. This is not going to go away. I don’t know what makes me angrier: The fact that the Board has supported this abuse of public funds for so long or that they allowed the Marshal to threaten the one man who tried to change it.”
“If Robert Orabuena was not driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and Joe Judnick was speeding, why is it Mr. Orabuena’s fault? Mr. Judnick was speeding, just like everyone else on Fairview Road, and he paid dearly with his life for his negligence. Why can’t his family see that? Why do they insist that Mr. Orabuena should pay when Mr. Judnick was speeding?
If Mr. Judnick was going 55 mph, this accident would have never happened. Mr. Orabuena would have made his turn and Mr. Judnick would have gone by safely.
I feel for the Judnick family, who lost their very dear husband, father and brother, but this was poor judgment on Mr. Judnick’s part and not Mr. Orabuena’s negligence.
Also, Mr. Judnick’s family is not very sympathetic to the Orabuena family who have already paid a high price for Mr. Judnick’s speeding.
Every year when the rally comes, I pray that no one loses their life. I would like to see increased enforcement of speed limits on county roadways at the next rally to avoid this type of accident.
If I rode a motorcycle, I would definitely not speed down Fairview Road because there is way too much cross traffic on that road and I wish someone would have told Mr. Judnick that.”
