The San Benito County Search and Rescue Unit found two Los Gatos teenagers lost in the Clear Creek Management Area on Sunday.

Sean Bentinck and Christian Frank, both 17 years old, got lost on motorcycles in the off-highway vehicle recreation area Saturday evening, Sheriff’s Lt. Roy Iler said.

Deputy Dave Zander, in charge of the volunteer San Benito County Search and Rescue Unit, was called to the Bureau of Land Management area Saturday night and searched in the dark until about 11 p.m. with no luck, Iler said.

Zander called members of the search and rescue unit to assemble at daybreak Sunday and using a California Highway Patrol helicopter spotted the teenagers at about noon, Iler said.

Iler said the two teenagers were lost in the snow and could not find their way back to camp Saturday evening once night fell. Bentinck and Frank were reunited with their families at Clear Creek Management Area.
