fires already blazing, Pinnacles National Monument has enacted
strict fire restrictions throughout the park.
With tinderbox conditions throughout California and hundreds of fires already blazing, Pinnacles National Monument has enacted strict fire restrictions throughout the park.

According to a press release, “setting, building, maintaining or using fires of any kind” as well as smoking outside of a vehicle or closed building, discharging a firearm or setting off fireworks has been deemed illegal until further notice.

Violators of the restrictions can expect to pay up to $5,000 in fines and spend up to a year in jail.
