CASTROVILLE – Ausonio Inc. was recognized in the “Meeting the Challenge of the Difficult Job-Builder” category for the LifeSparc facility project in Hollister Saturday at the 16th annual Constructors Awards Banquet in Long Beach.
The award is sponsored by the Associated General Contractors of California, an organization of construction firms and industry-related companies dedicated to skill, integrity and responsibility in improving the physical environment.
The AGC Constructor Awards program recognizes the diversity and ingenuity characteristic of the construction industry.
Ausonio Inc. is a past award recipient and finalist of the Constructor Award. In 1988 it won for Excellence in Client Service for the Papal Visit project in Monterey; in 1997 the company won Contribution to the Community for the Calvary Chapel project in Monterey; and in 1997 was selected as a finalist in the Meeting the Challenge of the Difficult Job for the Paradise remodel in Carmel.
LifeSparc, established in Hollister in 2001, builds electrical initiators for automotive safety devices.
