San Benito County Girl Scout Brownie troop 3174 spent the money
they raised selling Girl Scout cookies on supplies for the
Hollister Animal Shelter and Pet Friends Rescue Group. On
Wednesday, April 8, the girls gathered after school at the shelter
with a truckbed loaded with cat food, toys and towels. The girls
decorated the supplies with red ribbons.
The shelter is located at 375 Fifth st. Hours of operation are
noon through 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. for more information
