Hollister City Council members will vote Monday to ratify Mayor Victor Gomez’s proposed appointments to various committees.
Council members will consider them at their 6:30 p.m. meeting Monday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
Gomez two weeks ago gained the appointment in the rotating mayoral position, while the council voted in Pauline Valdivia as vice mayor.
The proposed appointments for such panels as the Council of Governments, the Local Agency Formation Commission, the Intergovernmental relations committee, the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, the California Criminal Justice Commission, the comprehensive economic development committee, the governance committee, the water resources association, the flood prevention committee, the solid waste committee, an economic development ad hoc committee, the solid waste task force, the air pollution control district and the gang task force policy committee.
