Aspen and Razya Pollock, who were supposed to be in Peru this week for a humanitarian trip, came across flight delays and were unable to make the excursion.
All their carry-on luggage made it on the flight, but the Pollocks didn’t. There were flight delays, and even the all-night flight was put off by two hours, noted Razya Pollock, Aspen’s mother.
“It wasn’t meant to be,” Pollock said.
Pollock said the two plan to go to Peru this August – when they can stay longer – to volunteer their time and help the needy children.
For other people involved in the humanitarian trip have been flown out, and everything will go as planned, just a day later, she said.
