Delo’s Divots: As we head into the rainy season, wet grass on
the golf course will be a regularity, even if there isn’t any
precipitation. The cool, moist nights will certainly add to
this.

The key to remember is that the ball will come off the wet grass with little to no spin. So when you are judging how far to fly the ball, remember that it will bounce and roll a lot more than you think because of the lack of spin.
This is what we call a flier. It comes out like a knuckle ball and when it hits the ground, it rolls a lot more than normal. The ball flight stays lower as well.
Remember to always wipe your ball clean. When you make contact with the ball and club, you don’t want the ball to slide or hydroplane off the club face.
