Several local organizations are sponsoring an upcoming drought workshop focusing on “Ways We Can All Save Water,” according to an announcement from the Water Resources Association of San Benito County.
The water resources association is hosting the event along with sponsors that include the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau’s Green Business Committee; Farmhouse Communications; and the Natural Resource Conservation Service in Hollister.
The free workshop is set for 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at Paine’s Restaurant, 421 East St. It includes a free breakfast as well.
The announcement for the event says it will be a “workshop for agriculture, residents and businesses to learn about local programs and services to assist you in using water efficiently.”
