on Sept. 29 in Carmel. They plan to marry in August.
JoAnne Elizabeth Zuniga and David Thomas Kaplansky were engaged on Sept. 29 in Carmel. They plan to marry in August.
JoAnne is the daughter of Vincent and Sally Zuniga of Hollister, and David is the son of William and Bridget Chase, also of Hollister.
JoAnne earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco. She is employed at San Benito High School as an instructor.
David earned his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and is employed by the San Benito County Office of Education as an instructor. He is also employed by San Benito High School as the varsity basketball coach.
JoAnne and David are both graduates of SBHS.
