There will be nighttime road closures on eastbound Highway 156 for construction work on the flyover project next week starting Monday night.
Highway 156 will be closed at the intersection at Highway 152 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on March 24 through March 31, according to a press statement from the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.
The detour is as follows:
Eastbound Highway 156 traffic wanting to gain access to eastbound or westbound on Highway 152 will be detoured onto Fairview Road to San Felipe Road and back to Highway 152, according to the VTA.
Crews are going to be constructing falsework, a temporary frame to support the weight of a bridge during construction.
