Congressman Sam Farr, D-Carmel, has released the schedule for his final five town hall meetings in the district this summer.

Farr, who represents San Benito County, has been traveling and talking to residents throughout the Central Coast congressional district this month, with most of the discussion revolving around the national health care debate.

Farr was in Hollister for a town hall meeting Aug. 12 at the Veterans Memorial Building that brought out more than 500 residents.

The following is a list of meetings in the coming weeks:

Salinas Town Hall

King City Town Hall

6 p.m. Sept. 2

Monterey County Fairgrounds, Pavilion Room

625 Division St., King City

Watsonville Town Hall

6 p.m. Sept. 3

Monterey Town Hall

10 a.m. Sept. 12

Monterey Convention Center, Steinbeck Forum

Portola Plaza, Del Monte Ave. and Pacific St., Monterey
