Frieda Reynolds passed away on September 22, 2009, after a short illness.
She was born in Weatherford, OK on March 19, 1927, and was a long-time resident of Hollister. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Reynolds. Frieda is survived by her five children Steve and Gary Reynolds of Carson City, NV, Ruby Hicks and Roberta Carreiro of Hollister, and Rick Reynolds of Sacramento. She will be forever missed by her children, nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Frieda loved bowling, doing needlework, playing pool, and spending time with her family. She moved to Elk Bend, ID to be near her sister, Sarah Fieldgrove, in 1997, but recently returned to Hollister to be with her family.
Visitation and viewing will be Thursday evening, September 24th, 2009, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Funeral services will be today,Friday, September 25th, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with burial and graveside services to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hollister.
