Susan Paura

Former Hollister resident Susan Paura passed away on Saturday
after a battle with kidney disease. Friends and family of Paura
were raising funds to bring her back to the area after she was
diagnosed with terminal liver disease, and the funds were going

funds that already have been given will be going to help the family
with the memorial services and any remaining funds will be donated
to the YMCA of San Benito County.

While she lived in Hollister, Paura was involved in many community groups and organizations including the Community Foundation for San Benito County, the Kinship Center, the YMCA of San Benito County, Hope for a Cure, the Tree of Life and National Philanthropy Day.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at Presbyterian Church at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, and Pastor Henry of Rolling Hills Church will be officiating the memorial services.
