Former two-time world champion and Gilroy native Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (23-1-1, 16 KO’s) has traveled to Los Angeles for training camp in preparation for his scheduled June 12 fight, set to be the main event televised on ESPN2. No opponent or venue has been named yet.

In addition to training while in Los Angeles, Guerrero will be filming the ad campaigns for EA Sports’ “Fight Night Round 4.” Guerrero was one of a few fighters chosen to market the upcoming video game scheduled for release this summer.

Guerrero will be working with longtime cornerman Ruben Gomez, who has worked with the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Roberto Duran, along with his trainer and father, Ruben Guerrero.

“I’m excited to be in Southern California training with the best fighters in the world,” Guerrero said. “I know coming to L.A. will prepare me to execute at my highest level as I look to give the fans the best possible performance.”
