A San Juan Bautista grandmother will likely spend two years in prison after accepting a plea bargain for selling methamphetamine out of her Fifth Street home.
Aminta Soliz, a 76-year-old Mission City resident who San Benito County drug agents arrested in February 2007, had faced multiple felony drug charges. But she pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of drug sales, according to court documents.
Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team agents set up a sting operation at Soliz’s home after the San Benito County sheriff’s office received several complains about possible drug dealing at the residence.
UNET Cmdr. Mark Colla has said agents used an informant to buy drugs from Soliz and her son, Carlos Soliz, 48.
Soliz is scheduled to be sentenced in San Benito County Superior Court in February.
