Granville “JR” O’Quinn passed away July 7 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. Born May 12, 1955 he was born and raised in Hollister, and lived in Modesto since 1991. He worked for United Rentals for nine years, and attended Calvary Chapel of Modesto.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jennie O’Quinn.
He is survived by his fiancee, Karen Barlow of Modesto and her children, Riki and Brad Barlow; father Granville O’Quinn Sr. of Modesto; daughters Brianna O’Quinn of Modesto, Valerie O’Quinn of Las Vegas, Nev. and Vernoica Garcia of Las Vegas, Nev.; son Matthew O’Quinn of Modesto; sisters Shirley Newman of Auburn and Barbara McIntire of Arkansas; brothers Charles O’Quinn of Massachusetts, Ernie Larios of Newman, Calif., and Clifford Larios of Oregon; twins Albert and Alvin Larios of Hollister; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Chapel home in Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, Calif. Interment to follow. Arrangements by Allen Mortuary, Turlock.
