At Jean’s request, there will be a private family gathering honoring her life.
“Jean” Klamm quietly entered Heaven’s gates on April 13, 2015, after suffering a massive stroke. Jean was born in Missouri, but lived most of her life in California.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Jean was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved being a grandmother and was adored by her grandchildren.
Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, where she would serve homemade noodles, homemade rolls, many different pies and a full turkey dinner. It was the joy of her life to see her family together.
Jean worked as a secretary most of her life, including many years at Awalt High School in Mountain View where she had many student admirers. The graduating class of 1970 dedicated their yearbook to her.
She loved to play Bridge and was very competitive. She also loved to read the paper every day of her life until her death.
Jean was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Klamm and her grandson, Chuck Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ibsen, daughter, Judy Gagne and her husband, Gerard Gagne, and son, Bill Klamm and his wife Suzanne, her grandchildren, Theresa Edwards, Roberta Thompson, Tiffanie Gee, Mathew Klamm, Benjamin Klamm, Kathryn Klamm, and her great-grandchildren, Lauren Edwards and David Schuck.
