Hollister firefighters extinguish a roof fire at 1641 Sunset Drive on Saturday at about 4:20 p.m. that was reportedly started by the use of illegal fireworks, believed to be bottle rockets. A neighbor was cited for the incident, but not arrested. The Sunset Drive fire was one of many incidents regarding illegal fireworks the fire department responded to, including a brush fire on Union Road. The City of Hollister has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use or possession of illegal fireworks. No one has yet been arrested for any of the incidents.
