organizations gathered together to put on a community Christmas
concert. This year’s theme was

directed by Amy Oelrich. Combined with her extensive experience
as a performer, teacher, and concert director, the event may become
San Benito County’s annual Christmas performing arts
celebration.
This cooperative effort serves as a witness to the ideal of
Christian unity, said Tonia Sunseri, a member of the public affairs
council for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Morgan
Hill California Stake, in a press release.

Many different traditions coming together to share the Christmas spirit, and provide free entertainment to the whole community.
Victor Gomez, a city council member, welcomed the audience of the inaugural San Benito Community Christmas Concert held at a packed San Benito High auditorium Dec.4. Performers from throughout the county joined together in a celebration of the Christmas spirit through song and dance. The variety of entertainment provided included performances by the following groups:
-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Choir
-Ballet Folklorico Maripoza,
-Grace Bible Church Quartet,
-USA Sports GLEE
-Oriana Chorale
-South Valley Suzuki String Academy
-Heidi Henderson-Vocal Solo
-First Presbyterian Church Choir
-Hollister Men’s Ensemble
The audience joined in singing “Silent Night” during the show’s grand finale.
Following the concert, all were invited to a reception outside the auditorium for refreshments and an opportunity to begin celebrating with friends and family.
