The U.S. Army on Wednesday held a service to commemorate members of the Honor Guard unit that performed during a memorial in November for Jose Bravo, a Hollister resident who died in a Gilroy car accident Nov. 10.
Bravo was a 2010 graduate of San Benito High School and was set to leave for Georgia on Feb. 27 for basic training in the United States Army, where he would be working as a satellite communication systems operator/maintainer.
His future goal was to join the Army Ranger Special Forces.
