Work began on the northbound side of U.S 101 east of Bernal Road on June 15. Initial construction will involve freeway shoulder repair and mainline paving on one or two lanes.

The work is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Weekend work can start as early as 8 p.m. and run through 10 a.m. There will be no full freeway closures throughout the duration of this project.

It is anticipated that work will be completed in late August.

There will be various lane and ramp closures during this project.
