Calling all contractors
HOLLISTER – The Association of San Benito County Contractors will host a kick-off meeting Thursday, July 17 at 5 p.m. at Ladd Lane School, 161 Ladd Lane, in Hollister.
The evening will give contractors an idea of the benefits of joining ASBCC and offer a chance to meet other contractors.
The Association includes general contractors, sub contractors, building material suppliers and others related to the construction industry. The goals and objectives are to promote high standards in the industry locally.

Author of “Devoted Bodies” visits
HOLLISTER – Lynora Bayless, the author of the “Devoted Bodies” study and the co-founder of “Take On Your Health” education association, will visit Rolling Hills Community Church, 330 E. Tres Pinos Road Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.
Bayless began a career in preventative health because of her own family’s history of health problems. Her father died of a stroke, and her sister and mom both survived strokes. She uses her background as a certified wellness consultant and health educator and her faith in God to inspire people to be healthier.
