A memorial service will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St. Gilroy, Thursday, October 17, 2013, at 6:00 P.M., with a reception to follow. Alice Iona Patton of Gilroy passed away peacefully in her own bed last Thursday morning. She was the center of the family and will be missed by all touched by her sweet smile and gentle spirit.
Iona is survived by her daughters Michele Rundle, Dia (Michael) Hoshida, and Loretta (David) Weinkam; grandchildren Stephen (Emily) Hoshida, Thomas (Carissa) Hoshida, Alan and William Hoshida, Claire Iona (Jose) Contreras-Rundle, and Owen Rundle; great-grandchildren Caitlyn and Anthony Hoshida, Cortney and Taylor Hoshida, and Nora Iona Contreras-Rundle, plus many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ray D. Patton.
