Jose Mercado passed away Dec. 8, 2007 in San Jose, CA. He was 51 years old. He is survived by his wife Maria Mercado of Gilroy. Father of Aurora and her husband Chris Gonzalez, Elizabeth Mercado and Jessie Mercado all of Gilroy. He is the son of Jesus and Socorro Mercado of Fremont. Also survived by six sisters and many nieces and nephews. Jose was a bus driver for the Gilroy Unified School District. He has been a Gilroy resident for over 10 years.
Vigil Service will be held Tuesday and a Funeral Mass on Wednesday. Please call 847-4040 for the times. Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery, Gilroy.
