Joseph passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2014,at the age of 77.
He spent two years in the Army, then worked for IBM, from which he retired. Then he went on to lead a very active life and enjoyed getting together with family and friends.
He loved gardening and was always looking to buy another plant for the backyard to squeeze in among all the others.
One of his favorite sports was to play golf with his friends and to watch it on TV. He belonged to the V-Drive Club of America and enjoyed going camping and boating in the summertime with his friends.
He was known as “Margarita Joe” around the campground for making his famous margaritas.
With the help of friends, he built two boats and would alternately take them to some of his favorite lakes.
After being diagnosed with emphysema, he could no longer go boating. After boating, he got involved with building a classic hot rod with the help of friends.
He entered his boats in boat shows with the V-Drive club and entered the rod in local car shows. His meticulous eye for details was noted and won several awards for his boats and car. He will be greatly missed.
Joseph leaves behind his wife, Angela, sons Greg (Ellie), Eric, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
