Free Lance Math Doesn’t Resemble Actual Math
Editor,
Your articles about the District 4 supervisor race continue to show a poor grasp of math. “Monaco, running for his second term on the Board of Supervisors, outspent Cone 3-to-1 on the campaign trail, spending $10,188 compared to Cone’s $1,282.” Running those figures through my calculator shows that Monaco actually outspent Cone by about 8-to-1. That’s a pretty interesting story in itself.

Thanks for the Votes
Editor,
I want to thank all my supporters for re-electing me to the Board of Trustees of Gavilan College.
Over the years I have worked with the other board members to make Gavilan College a great learning institution in the vocational and the academic fields.
We have a balanced budget with a strong board dedicated to bringing two new campuses to our communities in Hollister and Morgan Hill.
We have an exciting future ahead of us. Working together, we will provide our students the necessary tools for learning and achieving success.
Again, thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve you.
