The accounting firms of Bianchi, Lorincz, Huey, Hudson & Co., and Kasavan & Pope, LLP, have merged their firms to form the new firm of Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope, LLP.

The merger comes as the result of the necessity for growth in a non-growth environment, according to Bob Bianchi.

“Hollister is in a situation where it hasn’t grown in five years,” Bianchi said. “We were put in a situation where we didn’t want to lose staff. It’s sad, but you do what you have to do these days.”

The new firm will offer an even broader scope of business and financial expertise to the communities of the central coast and lower Santa Clara Valley.

Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope (BKP) will be a full-service accounting firm with offices in Monterey, Salinas, Hollister and Morgan Hill. They specialize in tax planning and preparation, retirement planning, audit services, estate and trust tax preparation, payroll services, business valuations and management advisory consulting. Additionally, BKP provides information technology services through Professional Computer Solutions – an in-house department providing clients with systems hardware and accounting software expertise, support and troubleshooting, according to their press release.

“Our goal is to serve our clients with the best technical support and knowledge of their industry, anticipating changes and understanding the uniqueness of their particular business operation,” Michael Willett, BKP partner said. “This merger only enhances our commitment to providing peace of mind through valued service.”

The newly merged firm will be led and directed by existing partners from Bianchi, Lorincz, Huey, Hudson & Co. and Kasavan and Pope, including Bob Bianchi, Gail Delorey, Chuck Doglione, Joseph Garcia, Mary Hubbell, Carla Hudson, David Huey, Jesse Lopez, Kris Nolan, Gordon Rubbo and Michael Willett.

Collectively they will continue to offer time-tested industry experience, extensive knowledge, resources, and commitment to the communities they serve.

Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope consists of 60 highly experienced individuals including 20 CPAs with a wealth of expertise in the accounting and business industries and partners who are deeply rooted in the Central Coast.

The firm is staffed with both veteran and younger-generation professionals trained to help clients identify and achieve their financial and life goals, delivering quality tax services, accounting, auditing, and computer consultation with personal care and confidentiality.

Both firms have been around for more than 50 years, according to Bianchi. So it was a perfect fit that they should combine their firms and maintain the quality of service they have become known for.
