The forum is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the local YMCA, 339 Fifth St., in Hollister. It is scheduled to feature immigration attorney Paula Solorio, according to LULAC.
Matters discussed at the gathering will include:
– How to apply for citizenship
– Immigration rights
– How to inform yourself on immigration services
– Immigrant assistance: the organizations and agencies that can help
– Immigrants who are victims of crimes
– Reporting of serious crimes to law enforcement
