Memorial Service will be held, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., at St. John the Divine, Episcopal Church, 17740 Peak Ave, Morgan Hill, (408) 779-9510. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Humane Society.
Margaret K. Miller – Long Time Morgan Hill Teacher
Margaret (Maggi) Kennedy Miller, long time middle school teacher pased away in Morgan Hill.
A native Californian, born in Yuba City, CA. She was the daughter of Orin A. and Bertie Smith Kennedy and was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Larry Kennedy.
Though she had no children of her own, she was a wonderful, positive influence on hundreds of children in the Morgan Hill School District.
A woman of great intelligence and humor, she will be sorely missed by her niece by marriage, Kathleen Gibson (and family) of Los Angeles, her long-time friends, Angelika Michels Rooney (Daniel), Jillian Dent (Michael) and family, and Father Philip Cooke and the rest of her church family at St. John the Divine, Episcopal Church, Morgan Hill, as well as other good friends and neighbors.
Special thanks to the staff at Season’s Hospice and her caregivers, especially Tess Marquez, who devotedly took care of Maggi in her final weeks.
