Maria E. Dominguez died May 8 at the age of 80 years old.
She was born in Trinidad, Colo. and lived in Hollister since 1955. She married her husband, Teodoro, in 1936 in Juarez, Mexico. She had worked for San Benito Foods in Hollister and in canneries in Watsonville. She was in the foster grandparents program, a member of the Teamsters Union and Sacred Heart Church and worked at R.O. Hardin and Sunnyslope schools.
She is survived by her husband, Teodoro Dominguez, of Hollister; her children Jesus Dominguez of Hollister, Clara Casarez of Madera, Ray Dominguez of Hollister and Ruben Dominguez of Hollister. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter.
The Rosary will be Thursday May 13, 2004 at 7 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
The Mass will be at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, May 14, 2004. Friends may gather at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. to have a procession to the church.
Interment and graveside services will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
