There was a brief lockdown at Sunnyslope Elementary School today when police responded to a call of a suspicious male in the lobby, but it turned out to be a medical emergency and the school is back on its normal schedule, according to the Hollister Police Department.
Police announced the lockdown shortly after the 9 a.m. response call, but after detaining the male called it off within minutes when officers realized it was a medical situation. The victim was transported to the hospital for medical attention, according to police.
