Three drug-related arrests were made in San Juan Bautista at 7:30 p.m. Friday., said Lt. Roy Iler of the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office.

“On the 400 block of the Alameda two deputies noticed a vehicle that was out of place and made contact with the three people in the car,” said Iler, who added that a check revealed two of the three occupants were on probation out of Monterey County. The suspects are a 38-year-old female, a 28-year-old female and a 25-year-old male all out of Salinas.

A search of the vehicle and suspects revealed an ounce of methamphetamine with a street value of about $1,700 and a half-ounce of cocaine worth around $500, Iler said.

Deputy Ralph Morden arrested all three suspects for conspiracy to commit a crime, transportation of controlled substances and narcotics for sale, and possession of controlled substances and narcotics for sale. The suspects were booked into the San Benito County Jail.
