Get Smart – The 1960s hit series gets revamped in this new summer comedy. Steve Carell plays Maxwell Smart, the bumbling Agent 86, and Anne Hathaway plays Agent 99, the more competent of the duo. They work together to battle KAOS. Comedy, PG-13

Hancock – It would be Fourth of July without a Will Smith blockbuster. This year Smith play’s Hancock, a super hero with a bad idea who hires a public relations firm to help him clean up his image. But will things go wrong when Hancock starts to put the moves on Mary (Charlize Theron) the wife of his PR guru Ray (Jason Bateman). Action, PG-13.

The Incredible Hulk – Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) is back and this time he needs to use the mutation that transforms him into a rampaging green monster to stop a former soldier who has used the same genetic accident for even more dangerous means. Starring Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and Tim Blake Nelson. Action, PG-13.

Journey to the Center of the Earth – When a scientist searches for his missing brother with his nephew and a mountain guide, they discover a lost world in the center of the Earth. Starring Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem, this movie is showing in 3D at select theaters. Adventure, PG.

Kit Kittredge: An American Girl – During the Great Depression, 10-year-old Kit Kittredge (Abigail Breslin) lives in a boarding house with her parents in Ohio. She has a passion for writing and wants to someday put out her own newspaper, with the help of her friends. Based on the American Girl dolls, it also stars Julia Ormond and Chris O’Donnell. Family comedy, G.

Meet Dave – A spaceship in the shape of a man named Dave (Eddie Murphy) is operated by a crew of minature aliens. The ghosts in the machine, played by various actors such as Murphy, Gabrielle Union and Ed Helms, guide Dave through his interactions with humans after he is hit by a car driven by Gina Morrison (Elizabeth Banks) while they try to save their home planet. Comedy, PG.

Wall-E – A robot – a Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class – remains on Earth long after the last human is gone. In 2700, a sleek new robot lands on Earth and discovers that Wall-E has found the secret to saving the planet. Animation, G.

Wanted – Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) is an average Joe, kind of a nobody until he meets Fox (Angelina Jolie). When his estranged father is murder, Fox shows up to teach him how to avenge his father’s death. Also starring Morgan Freeman and Terence Stamp. Action, R.

The Bank Job – This film is based on the story of a 1971 bank robbery on Baker Street in London. Thieves tunneled into a London vault and looted safe deposit boxes, but in addition to jewelry and money, they found secrets that were so scandolous, the story was kept under wraps for 30 years. Starring Jason Staham and Saffron Burrows and On Blu-ray and DVD.

Step Up 2 The Streets – Tyler (Channing Tatum) is back after succesfully auditioning for a prestigious school of the arts, and now he is trying to recruit one of his old friends Andie (Briana Evigan), to audition for the school. She meets Chase (Robert Hoffman) who helps show her the ropes at the school. On DVD and Blu-Ray.

Penelope – A new take on the classic fairytale, Penelope (Christina Ricci) is struck with the family curse of having a pig face. All her life her parents struggle to find someone of their same class to love her and break the curse forever. After countless rejections, she believes she may have found someone to fit the bill in Max (James McAvoy), but things quickly go awry in this comedy. On DVD.

College Road Trip –When top high school student Melanie (Raven-Symone) decides to visit colleges around the country, her father James (Martin Lawrence) quickly offers to be the chauffeur for the trip to keep her out of trouble. On DVD and Blu-Ray.
