The woman accused of shooting and killing her daughter last year is scheduled to be back in San Benito County court Wednesday for a trial setting hearing.

Cheryl L. Busch is suspected of shooting her 19-month-old daughter with .357 Magnum at her residence off of Shore Road in November 2008. The hearing is set to begin at 9 a.m. at the San Benito County courthouse.

At the most recent hearing in late August, visiting Judge Thomas Breen denied three special allegations brought forward by the prosecution, including two charges of intentional discharge of a firearm. Busch still faces felony homicide charges, which could bring a sentence of life in prison.

The hearing is scheduled to be in courtroom 101 and be presided over by Judge Steven Sanders.
