Nancy Cameron Nissen, of Morgan Hill, passed away peacefully after a long illness. She was born in East Orange, New Jersey, and is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph, and her children, Bob, Dave, Peter, Ted and Susan; and her step-son, Jeff. She had thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Nancy earned her B.A. in Education at New Jersey State University and a Master’s degree in Religious Education at New York University. She worked with Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship for four years. She taught elementary and junior high classes intermittently for 20 years while raising five children. She played piano and organ for her church for over 60 years. She was a professional seamstress for many years, and produced an abundance of stitcheries, quilts, afghans and craft projects. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Morgan Hill Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church in Nancy’s memory.
