Hollister Youth Alliance recently unveiled its new name and logo, according to a press release. The nonprofit will be known simply as the Youth Alliance. The name change is an outcome of the organization’s continued effort to meet documented and compelling needs of youth.

Recent historic economic events have intensified the needs of youth. Because of the organization’s success with after-school programs in Hollister, it has been welcomed as a partner in San Juan Bautista, and most recently, the Gilroy Unified School District. The expansion into Gilroy is a result of planning and reflection on the mission: to provide innovative and culturally relevant services that strengthen and enrich youth, families and the community.

“Because of the strength, dedication, and professionalism of the Youth Alliance’s entire staff, we are confident that we will continue to provide the highest quality programs in all of our service areas,” said Enrique Luna, a YA board member, in a press release. “We will continue to look to you for guidance and support, as we seek to build alliances in our new service areas.”
