Ed Castro might not have begun his career in the wine industry, but his attention to detail and quality of wine will keep him in business for a long time. A plumber by trade, Ed was first introduced to the wine industry by family members who live in Napa Valley. Tucker came from the San Martin shelter eight years ago. They called to let us know they had a beautiful yellow Labrador who needed to be adopted. We had just lost our three-legged dalmatian, Carly the tripod, and had room for one more. Tucker was a bit of a nervous, fearful dog in the beginning. However with lots of love and attention, he settled in and was very content with his new housemates … Archie, Maisy and our three cats.

POTW: Moby
Hello! My name is Moby (86344)! I'm a sweet and gentle older dog looking for my forever home. I can be a bit shy when I first meet someone, but warm up with love and tender care (a few treats doesn't hurt either). I enjoy going for walks and also get along well with other calm and polite dogs. Are you looking for a loving and devoted companion? Ask to meet me today! Visit the Humane Society Silicon Valley, 901 Ames Ave., Milpitas, or call (408) 262-2133.
