Skills Clinic
The Hollister Heat will be holding a skills clinic Feb. 21 from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marguerite Maze Middle School.
The class will be taught by Santa Clara University head coach
Marcy Crouch, who was voted PCSC Coach of the Year. The cost is $35
and includes T-shirt and snack. Space will fill up fast. Call Alina

Pitching clinic
The Hollister Heat will be holding a pitching clinic for anyone who wants to improve her abilities Feb. 29 at the Heat Softball field at Vet’s Park. The time for 10 and under is 1-2:30 p.m., and the time for 11 and up is 2:45-4:15 p.m. The cost is $15. Each pitcher must have her own catcher. Call Alina at 636-4812 to register.
Pop Warner
Hollister Youth Football and Cheer teams still have opening just in the following categories: 10 or 11 years old (70 to 110 pounds), 12 years old (70 to 90 pounds), 12 to 14 years old (95 to 145 pounds) and 15 years old (95 to 125 pounds)
Small-sized squads are currently full, however there are waiting list applications for ages 9 to 12 interested in cheerleading. If there is enough applications, one or more large sized squads will be formed to allow more girls to cheer.
Please do not apply if your child does not fit into one of these categories. Wait lists have already formed for all other teams and squads.

Youth Basketball
North American Youth Sports has openings in the annual spring basketball tournament held in Menlo Park and Redwood City on April 2-4. The entry fee is $120 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games.
The entry deadline is March 12. There are also similar tournaments at Alameda High School in Oakland March 26-28 and in Richmond on April 16-18. Details: Call 1-800-787-3265.
