SBHS band places at event
The San Benito High School Scarlet Regiment Band placed second
at the 55th annual Newark Days Parade Sept. 18. The band’s drum
major, Caity Mello, also took second while the Color Guard took
first place.
The event is the first competition of the fall marching season.
They will next compete at the Del Mar Band Review, in San Jose,
Oct. 2.
