CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
Battery on person, Cienega Road
At 4:38 p.m. on Wednesday, a fight broke out between two people on the 1700 block of Cienega Road. Prior to the fight, the victim’s mother said that the suspect was saying derogatory things about the victim and her. The victim went to talk about what he had been saying and the fight broke out. Police were called to the scene. No arrests were made but the case was forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
Possession of marijuana, McCray Street
At 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday, a 21-year-old Hollister male was stopped for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign on McCray Street. The officer then found marijuana in the car. The suspect was cited and released.
Conspiracy to commit a crime, Tres Pinos Road
At 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, two juvenile females were working together to steal alcohol from Safeway on the 500 block of Tres Pinos Road. One suspect got away while the other juvenile female was detained by store employees. The suspect was cited for conspiracy to commit a crime and released.
Theft, Tres Pinos Road
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, a 21-year-old Hollister female was caught stealing clothes by employees of Kmart on the 400 block of Tres Pinos Road. Employees saw the suspect stealing clothing and called the police. The suspect was cited and released.
Identity theft, Gibson Drive
Sometime between Jan. 28 and Monday, a suspect used the victim’s credit card to set up a PG&E account on the 200 block of Gibson Drive. The crime was reported on Monday. Police said that the victim lives in Washington state. The suspect has not been arrested and the case is still under investigation.
Evading a peace officer, Suiter Street
At 4:52 p.m. on Monday, a female suspect was traveling at 50 mph in a 25 mph zone on the 1100 block of Suiter Street. The officer went to pull over the suspect when she stopped her vehicle and fled on foot. Police said that the suspect got away. The case has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
