The MetroPCS store in Hollister was robbed Friday afternoon, according to police.

The armed robbery occurred around 3:20 p.m., when the Hollister Police Department responded to the Metro PCS store located at 1270 San Juan Road for an armed robbery that had just occurred, according to police.

The reporting witness said a Hispanic male adult wearing all-black clothing, including a black hat, walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk. The suspect told the clerk in Spanish, “Give me the money or I will shoot,” according to the HPD.

The clerk gave the suspect money from the cash register. The suspect then fled on foot westbound through the shopping center, according to police.
