Brandishing knife, San Benito Street
Hollister police arrested a 30-year-old Hollister parolee at 1:47 a.m. Sunday after he reportedly had entered several businesses in the 500 block of San Benito Street and brandished a knife at employees.
Grand theft, Tres Pinos Road
A 50-year-old Hollister woman was arrested 4 p.m. Sunday at Kmart, 491 Tres Pinos Road, on suspicion of grand theft. Police reports state that she attempted to shoplift unspecified items worth more than $400, and then fought with security guards and resisted police who arrived to take her into custody. She was booked into the San Benito County Jail.
