Police responded to a call of vandalism in the 1300 block of Black Forrest Drive at 9 a.m. Friday. Officers discovered the Highway 25 sound wall was littered with “gang-related” graffiti. There is no suspect information at this time.

Battery, Airline Highway

Just after 2:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to an incident in the 1700 block of Airline Highway. Two men were pushing each other over money that was owed to one of the man’s relative.

Drunk in public, Fifth Street

Police responded to Whiskey Creek on Fifth Street just after 9:20 p.m. Friday, when a female customer started arguing with other customers and staff. The woman started arguing with the staff members after they refused to continue serving her drinks and called a cab. When police arrived, the woman was outside on a bench.

Drunk in public, Hill Street

Around 1 a.m. Saturday, when police were responding to an alarm near the intersection of San Benito and Hill streets, they discovered a woman asleep on the sidewalk. When approached, the woman was unresponsive and smelled of alcohol. Police took her into custody.

Battery, Gonzalez Drive

Around 10 p.m. Saturday near the 200 block of Gonzalez Drive, officers responded to a call of assault. A male attacked his sister for turning off his music, police reported. The man fled before police arrived.

Drunk in public, San Benito Street

Just after 2 a.m. Sunday, police were making a routine traffic stop when they noticed a man leaning against a pickup truck near the 900 block of San Benito Street. The man stumbled and fell down before the police went over to him. When officers arrived, the man had urinated on himself and couldn’t stand up. Police took him into custody.

Vehicle theft, Albright Drive

At 10 a.m. Sunday police reported a stolen vehicle near the 1500 block of Albright Drive. The vehicle was taken sometime between the time of April 1 and April 4. The owner was on vacation when the Blue ’98 Honda Civic was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

Grand theft, Tres Pinos Road

At noon Sunday, police responded when a Kmart customer had his wallet stolen inside the store. The man left his wallet, with $400 cash, in the shopping cart before it was taken. Police were able to get video and a description of the thief. The thief is a 30- to 40-year-old Hispanic woman with glasses and reddish-gold hair.
