Former Hollister resident
Former Hollister resident Ramon R. Perez died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital in Salinas. He was 68.
Mr. Perez had moved from Hollister to Los Banos four years ago. He worked in construction and was a member of the Hodcarriers Union Local 270 of San Jose. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and a former member of Mission San Juan Bautista. He was very attentive to his grandchildren and involved in their activities and sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of more than 48 years, Oralia Perez of Los Banos; his children and their spouses, Ray and Lucy Perez, Robert and Sherrie Perez and Angie and Robert Sanchez, all of Hollister, and Regino and Debbie Perez of Los Banos; his brothers and sister, Aniceto Perez Jr. of Edingburg, Texas, Oscar Perez of Fresno and Jeannie Guzman of Monterey; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects Wednesday, March 26 from noon until 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the American Kidney Association.
