The Gavilan College football team will play in the Capital Shrine Bowl in Sacramento at noon on Saturday Nov. 29, coach John Lango was informed Sunday.

The 5-5 Rams will face the Sierra College Wolverines as a reward for winning the Coast Conference title. Both Gavilan and DeAnza went 3-1. Gavilan earned the conference representative classification because of its win over DeAnza in the conference opener.

Sierra powered to a 65-0 victory over the Rams in the third game of the season.

Information on tickets to the Capital Shrine Bowl should be available through the Gavilan College Department of Athletics later this week.
