Caltrans began construction to install a left-turn lane, widen
the roadway shoulders and modify lighting on Highway 129 at the
junction with U.S. 101 on Searle Road near San Juan Bautista.
Caltrans began construction to install a left-turn lane, widen the roadway shoulders and modify lighting on Highway 129 at the junction with U.S. 101 on Searle Road near San Juan Bautista.
The project is expected to be completed by the beginning of September, with approximately 45 working days scheduled.
There will be a lane closure on Highway 129 with one-way reverse traffic control. Southbound on and off-ramps on U.S. 101 connecting with Highway 129 will be closed as needed.
A detour will be in place through Searle Road and Highway 156 directing traffic to U.S. 101.
Closures are anticipated to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Motorists can expect up to 10-minute delays while work is underway.
